Welcome to my site on moths of Ontario!
I am a moth’er currently residing near Perth in eastern Ontario. I have just been mothing since 2007, and have lots left to learn myself, but here I hope to share the species I’ve encountered and useful information pertinent to the hobby that I’ve picked up along the way.
This site is a work in progress. It will take me a while to get everything uploaded and functional. I hope eventually to display my entire collection of moth images here, and will continue adding photos as new species are captured. Bear in mind that I am still a relative newcomer to the hobby – not only will the list expand greatly as I gain more experience, but I may have misidentified some specimens. If you find a photo that you think has been incorrectly ID’d, please let me know.
